About Laurel

Since 2009, Laurel has been a portrait photographer capturing memories of childhood and families. She has lived in the South Tampa area for 30 years and has a vast knowledge of the area finding unique locations that fit each client perfectly.

Laurel grew up an Air Force brat traveling around the world. After studying 2 years in Munich, she transferred to USF and graduated with a degree in Special Education. She feels with this background and teaching learning disabled children for 13 years that she has a unique gift relating to children.

Photographing children is her passion. It puts butterflies deep her in belly. Children change so quickly she feels it’s imperative to capture them, to capture them now because as cliché as it sounds, blink and they are forever changing.

Laurel is a mom to 2 amazing children and has been married for 22 years. Her daughter Brooke, 19, loves to golf and is attending UCF.  Her son Payne, 15, is an elite level hockey player living and playing hockey at Shattuck St. Mary's in Minnesota.

She would love the opportunity to capture your lifetime moments.

Random facts: she is a sugar-a-holic, a gum chewer, works out 5-6 days a week, loves her Peloton, loves to ski, watches a lot of mindless TV, only drinks water but loves an occasional large diet lemonade with no ice from Chick-fil-a.
